We’re a dog friendly pub, based in Sussex

As voted by The Guardian’s Top 10 Cosiest Pubs, The Fountain comes with dog friendly flagstone floors, low ceilings, beautiful English beams, stunning inglenook fireplaces, a menu to suit everyone’s taste, a wine list to die for, local beers, and a vast array of non-alcoholic drinks – There’s something for everyone. With dog biscuits on the bar, and a bowl of water ready for your pooc, we embrace dogs here and hope they enjoy their time with us as much as you do.

With our large  garden there’s plenty of space for your dog to stretch out in the sun, or cosy inside the pub in the colder months. You can be sure that your pooch will get a warm welcome from our staff as soon as you visit.

Where can I eat with my dog?

Our four legged friends are welcome in both of the bar areas, by the inglenook and of course in our extensive, gated gardens, the menus are the same in the Bar as in the Restaurant so you will receive the same service and food while your best friend relaxes with a bowl of water and a doggie amuse-bouche.

We just ask that they are on a lead and under control. It would be a bit awkward for all concerned if someone else’s sausage goes missing!
